For the commercial vehicle market, regions with a large VIO of vehicles are our main target markets, such as Central and South America, Eastern Europe, West Asia, the Middle East, etc. Our target clients include: auto spare parts distributors, auto batteries dealers, chain workshops, logistic companies and buyers who are doing truck AC equipment and parts business, etc.
Q2：Can you provide the catalog of the target market to guide me in model selection?
Unlike engine or chassis parts, SLIG batteries do not strictly match the vehicle model. As long as the capacity and size are compatible. Therefore, we can provide the battery model used by the reference vehicle model and make recommendations based on the local vehicle VIO.
Q3：How does LFP save money on commercial vehicle?
There is no need to be equipped with an additional generator, which saves the cost of the generator, also saves the annual maintenance of the generator and the fuel cost. One LFP battery is equivalent to four lead-acid batteries (starting + parking). The BBB LFP battery comes with a five-year warranty. The average annual cost is lower than that of lead-acid batteries. The daily cost of LFP batteries is only about 1/10 of that of lead-acid batteries. Using LFP batteries, users can recover the investment in the first year.
Q4：What is the price level of LFP compared with lead-acid?
The price of LFP commercial batteries is higher than that of lead-acid batteries, but they can last 5 times longer. Over 5 years, one LFP battery can replace at least six lead-acid batteries—and this is more cost-effective when considering long-term ROI. Overall, the daily cost of LFP batteries is only about 1/10 that of lead-acid batteries, allowing users to recover their investment within the first year.
Q5：How can I customize my products and private label?
If the quantity meets the MOQ, you can enjoy free customization of the terminal posts, capacity, surface size, handle, stickers, and boxes.
Q6：What is the MOQ, lead time, and is there more discount if I order more?
The MOQ is 20 pieces (PCS), and the lead time is 30 days. For further details regarding additional discounts for larger orders, please consult your sales director.
Q7：What areas are you selling? How's the performance?
We are now selling to China, Russia, Middle East and Eastern Europe countries. It performed very well so far.
Q8：What cars are using LFP as OEM battery?
No commercial vehicle makers are using LFP as OEM battery so far, due to their cost control requirement.
Q9：How can I customize my own APP?
Software and APP customization need extra costs on it, the functions can be customized as you required, normally it includes GPS locating, jump-start, status monitor, heating and CRM report, etc.
Q10：How can I use the GPS internationally?
We will prepare an international version of the GPS chip for you and grant you the highest-level control authority.
Q11：Do I need to worry about the temperature performance influences?
It is not necessary, our battery is designed for external extreme weather, in low temperature condition, we have 15% pre-stored battery power setting which ensures the vehicle can be started smoothly, and it's easy to use.
Q12：Is there any trouble in installation?
For most of diesel vehicles, there is no trouble in installation, because the size is designed for the battery container, unless some typical vehicle which using gas or the shape is different, we will recommend the other models to fit it.
Q13：What types of vehicles are NOT suitable for LFP batteries?
Scania officially does not recommend the installation of LFP batteries.
Q14：How to identify the model/capacity?
For short-haul trucks, we recommend a 3.8 kWh (or smaller) battery, which supports up to 5 hours of parking auxiliary use. For long-haul commercial vehicles with parking auxiliary needs, we recommend a 5.1 kWh (or larger) battery, which supports 7–10 hours of parking auxiliary use. Otherwise, you can provide the dimensions of the battery compartment and your target usage duration, and we will assist in providing a tailored recommendation.
